Mission

The 'Mission' file is part of the Roland Mulchay Mining Collection. Roland Mulchay was the chief geologist for the Anaconda mining company at Cananea. He either examined or received submittals and professional reports on many properties located in the southwestern U.S., northern Mexico and throughout the world. He was employed by Anaconda Mining Company and subsidiaries 1925 - 1966. He retired as Assistant Chief Geologist in 1966. He then worked as a consulting geologist on various projects in United States, Mexico and South America. The collected files principally cover Arizona, Utah and Mexico.
