Red Bird Mine

The 'Red Bird Mine' file is part of the James Doyle Sell mining collection, consisting of more than 1,800 folders of geologic reports and mineral exploration data. The files focus primarily on Arizona and other states in the Southwest. James Sell graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 1955 and earned his master's degree from the University of Arizona. He was the Southwest Exploration Manager for ASARCO and retired after 32 years.
